Cold Case Playing Cards
The Queensland Police Service and Crime Stoppers have recently introduced a new initiative designed at generating interest and potential leads into some of Queenland's cold-case homicides.
These playing cards are being distributed throughout prisons.
As an initiative which has worked well in the United States, the Queensland Homicide Victims Support Group supports QPS and Crime Stoppers in their endeavours to unearth more information on these homicides, which will hopefully lead to future arrests.
When someone's killer is not apprehended, families can face years, and even a lifetime of never knowing who was responsible. A lifetime of feeling that no one was held accountable, and a lifetime of feeling that their loved one was never granted the justice they deserve.
Every victim deserves Justice. We remain hopeful that this initiative will lead to this for families.
